In South America, I designed and installed an off-grid solar power system for a single household. Due to unstable grid coverage in the area, we implemented an economical and reliable solar system to achieve energy independence.

Component Selection:

  • Solar panels: Monocrystalline silicon modules adapted for high-altitude/high-temperature environments
  • Energy storage battery: ISPB series LiFePO4 battery to ensure power supply during cloudy/rainy days
  • Inverter: ISGC-T series split hybrid solar inverter supporting stable operation of household appliances, with built-in MPPT
  • Installation optimization: Roof mounting brackets made of anti-corrosion aluminum alloy, with tilt angle adjusted to optimal position for maximizing winter power generation

Installation Process:

  1. Site assessment: Measured roof structure and sunlight obstruction to determine optimal panel layout
  2. System construction:
    • Installed solar panels and secured mounting brackets to ensure wind resistance
    • Connected batteries, inverter and distribution box with overload protection
    • System debugging and testing operational stability under different loads
  3. User training: Instructed family members on how to check power levels, maintain panel cleanliness, and handle simple troubleshooting
